Furch Blue G-CM and Blue Plus G-CM comparison demo in Stageshop

This video recorded to demo the sound difference between Furch Blue G-CM and Furch Blue Plus G-CM acoustic guitars. The only difference between these guitars is the ultra-thin (160-180 microns) high gloss lacquering finish on the "Plus" model. The finish makes huge effect on the sound, it is not only a cosmetic feature on the Furch guitars. Our old-time friend, Miklós Szula plays the guitars with extremely precisions to play every notes exactly the same as much as possible on both guitars. Miklós is a professional studio and session musician, play the guitar is his everyday job.
Furch Blue G-CM and Blue Plus G-CM (solid Cedar top - solid African mahogany back and sides) are Grand Auditorium body shape acoustic guitars. The Blue CM series is the replacement of previous Millenium 20-CM series Furch guitars, the Blue Plus is an absolute new model since 2019.

We used XY microphone technique with a pair of Neumann KM 184. We used UAD Apollo mic preamp and AD converter and ProTools DAW. No EQ or any effects used on the recording.
